Minneapolis Airport
As we were boarding our flight in Minneapolis, the security agent was talking to a man just as we were entering the skyway. The man wasn't answering the agent's questions and then all of the sudden the passenger fell to the floor as if he was having a seizure. After he was through flopping around on the floor, he told the security agent he was sick. Well, that answer didn't fly with the security agent so the man was pulled aside and was told he should not be boarding if he was sick. The man then changed his mind and said he was okay. I don't know what happened but I did not see him get on the plane, for which I was grateful for.

Amsterdam Airport
Nine hours later...we flew into Amsterdam around 6:30 in the morning. We had a few hours to hang out before our next flight. This is one gargantuan airport; it has a hotel and even a mortuary. And if your not dead, you can get married there as well. I just thought you might want to know that. It is the world's third largest by international passenger traffic. There are areas with lounger chairs so you can sleep and lots of stores for shopping. We found one open lounger chair. We parked our carry-on luggage and one of us would meander around and the other tried to sleep.

Flight to IndiaBefore the flight, we sat down and had some coffee. We were sitting near the automated walk-ways and had to listen to this voice saying "mind your step" every time someone was getting off. The Minneapolis airport has a similar message, "you are coming to the end of the walk-way". After hearing these messages many times, it became quite annoying.

At the security check in Amsterdam, the security officer asked us how long we knew each other and we said "since like forever". He didn't appreciate the humor in our answer but we really didn't know. Later, we figured it was about 15 years or so.

So far, all of our flights were on time so kudos to Northwest. However, for the flight to Mumbai the airline tried to split us up. The situation was not making Ann a happy camper so we had a chat with the ticket agent. Phew...one minor glitch averted.
